International Day

Last Friday we held an International Day in school to celebrate the many cultural and religious festivals taking place this term. It was lovely to see so many parents (over 100!) coming together to share an international breakfast in the school hall. The children all had an opportunity to wear free dress for the day and many chose to wear their cultural dress. I enjoyed trying all the different foods that were brought to school from Parkin to Turkish Delight! In Assembly the reception classes waved their flags as we all sang together. Seren and Yasmine in year 6 read out a list of 52 different countries where our families come from. A great day, well done everyone!
