The school has pupils from 4 to 11 years (Years Reception to 6).
Parents have the right to apply for a place at any school in Leeds, or the surrounding district, regardless of their address. Admissions are organised centrally by Leeds City Council.
The Local Authority (LA) is the admission authority for all mainsteam community and voluntary controlled schools and will determine the admission policy arrangements.
Admission to the school is in accordance with the criteria laid down in the Education Leeds Admissions to Primary Schools Booklet. This gives priority to children with special educational needs, those with siblings already attending the school and children living within the schools catchment area.

Children are admitted at the beginning of the school year (September) in which they will have their fifth birthday.
The school has a staggered entry policy for the admission of Reception Class children.
The maximum number of pupils that can be admitted to our reception is 60 (30 pupils in each class).
Parents will receive information about all Leeds primary schools and a preference form in the October prior to the year their child is due to start school. Parents are encouraged to apply for their child's school on line.
Other Year Groups
Parents looking for a place in any other year group may apply to Leeds Admissions or may apply to the school directly. The school will be able to inform the parent as to whether their are any available places in the year group. The maximum numer of pupils that can be admitted into Year 1 and Year 2 classes is 30 (60 in the year group). Application forms are then sent to Leeds City Council.
At the end of Year 6 our pupils progress to a wide range of high schools that include: Allerton High, Allerton Grange, Rossett, Wetherby, Boston Spa, Roundhay and The Grammar School.
