Rememberance

This morning I told the children the story of Bert Dalby, my great uncle who fought and died in World War 1. He was a runner who was killed in 1916 leaving a wife and baby daughter. We talked about the work of the Royal British Legion and remembered the brave members of our armed forces who keep our country free and safe. The children listened so well and then sang our song "Today" which has some very thoughtful words. I was quite moved by the interest and respect shown by them all.
