Who is your inspiration?

Who is your inspiration?

This morning we talked about the inspirational people in our lives and how they can help us become better people. I shared with the children the story of Maya Angelou and how her life story had inspired me to do so many things over the years. We then passed the microphone around the hall to hear from the Year 6 children and the teachers. Many of them talked about their mums and dads, grandparents and other relatives. Others mentioned religious leaders, scientists, sporting heroes, poets and pop starts. The highfield for me was the boy in Year 6 who looked at his Year 3 teacher Mr. Beresford and named him as his inspitation!
